Since May 2015 Project Manager at the Progressive Zentrum. Actively committed to the civic education in France and Europe as co-founder and co-chairman of the French organisation Vote&Vous. Studied political science at the University of Münster, at Sciences Po Lille and at the College of Europe in Warsaw. Expertise in the fields of EU energy policy and in corporate social responsibility regulation. Worked i.a. for the European Commission in Berlin, as political consultant in Brussels as well as in the German Bundestag.
On 13-15 October 2017, #DialogueOnEurope contributors from eight European countries will meet in Rome for the third and last European Thinking Lab Summit. This three-day meeting will give them the opportunity to further discuss the four main topics of the project, namely Migration & Integration, Populism, Social Cohesion and Sustainable Growth, and to finalise their policy recommendations for European decision-makers through various work and exchange sessions. Four months after the successful kick-off of the Thinking Labs in Berlin, the DIALOGUE ON EUROPE Contributors met again on 25-27 November in Lisbon during the First Thinking Lab Summit hosted by Das Progressive Zentrum together with our Portuguese partner, the Institute of Public Policy.
Within its 2016 report, CEAR displays the extent of global forced displacement and the search for asylum, especially within the European Union. CEAR criticises the EU-Turkey agreement and presents own policy proposals for the European Union and the Spanish government.
After the successful #EuropeanTownHall Meeting in March 2016 in Lissabon and in the run-up to the European Thinking Lab Summit of our DIALOGUE ON EUROPE process, taking place in the Portuguese capitol as well, the next station of our German-Portuguese dialogue is Berlin.
Pursuing the debate launched with the DIALOGUE ON EUROPE project, the German Federal Foreign Office has initiated a new series of Town Hall Meetings within Germany, starting with a meeting hosted by Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier on 24 October 2016 in Berlin.
On 28 June 2016, the German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, together with the German Federal Minister of State for Europe, Michael Roth, officially launched the DIALOGUE ON EUROPE-project at the Europasaal of the German Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. (more…)
After successful #EuropeanTownHall Meetings in Athens, Lisbon, Rome and Marseilles the fifth and last event within the DIALOGUE ON EUROPE took place in Madrid, on 16 June 2016. Once again representatives from civil society, NGOs, local initiatives, startups, think tanks, the cultural sector and from the media gathered to discuss the most pressing challenges Spain and Europe are currently facing and exchanged ideas about how to work towards a strengthened and progressive Europe.

After successful Town Hall Meetings in Athens, Lisbon and Rome the fourth event within the DIALOGUE ON EUROPE took place in Marseilles, on 26 May 2016. Once again representatives from civil society, NGOs, local initiatives, startups, think tanks, the cultural sector and from the media gathered to discuss the most pressing challenges France and Europe are currently facing and exchange ideas about how to work towards a strengthened and progressive Europe.
The first stops of our DIALOGUE ON EUROPE in Athens and Lisbon were now followed up by a Town Hall Meeting in Rome on 5 April 2016. Once again, we invited representatives from civil society, NGOs, local initiatives, startups, think tanks, the cultural sector and from the media to gather and discuss the most urgent challenges Italy and Europe have to face presently, such as the reduction of youth unemployment or the refugee crisis.
The first bilateral Town Hall Meeting of our DIALOGUE ON EUROPE which took place in Athens on 7 December 2015 was now followed up by a Town Hall Meeting in Lisbon on 7 March 2016. Again, we invited young representatives from Portugal’s civil society, NGOs, startups, the media, and think tanks to gather and discuss the most urgent challenges the country has to face presently, such as the reduction of youth unemployment or the demographic changes the European Union is undergoing.
On December 7, the opening event of our project DIALOGUE ON EUROPE took place in Athens. Multipliers from Greek civil society came together to participate in workshops on common challenges in Europe, and to discuss these with Michael Roth, Minister of State for Europe at the German Federal Foreign Office.
